Brighton Can be quite photogenic

All images are taken with a Canon EOS 250d with Canon EFS 24mm lens. A Hoyer 720nm filter is added and F stop set at 5.6 (or thereabouts). Exposure time in bright sun (and occasional cloud) is 30-40s. Tripod is most definately used.

Images are subsequently post processed in Rawtherapee.

Ultimately, the reason for doing this is to obtain crisp and clear B&W images (which I think is optimal for architectural images). Theoretically, the detail which this offers is

superior.

This is still: Canon EOS 250d, 720nm Hoyer filter, F5.6, with exposure time of 30s.

This image was straightened, cropped, white balance adjusted (RGB), and exported to GIMP. Both Rawtherapee and GIMP are free.

In Gimp, I found the colour manipulation better (not easier, but more pleasing with regards to the end result).
