19th Century Game Keeper's Tower, Firle

West Firle (there is no East Firle) has existed longer than the Manor House (currently Firle Place).

There is a church which has been on this site since the 12th Century and evidence in the surrounding downland of Anglo Saxon burials.

The area around Firle is countryside, downland and small villages and there are plenty of footpaths both on and below the South Downs
