Bedham Church (abandoned)

The Church does not appear on Google Maps

St Michael's and All Angels (as it was once called) was built by William Townley Mitford in 1880. It functioned as a school during the week, and a church at weekends.
The school closed in 1925, and the church in 1959.
William Townley Mitford was a Conservative politician for Midhurst during the reign of Queen Victoria. This church appears to be more of a social project for a local community, and it is unclear how involved me was in it's running.
William is buried at All Hallows in Tillington
